GSM Arts is a privately held company established in 1998. The founder, owner, and Chief Gamewright is John Fernbank. He has had "a little help from his friends" - only people from the Beatles Generation will recognise that remark - but venture capital is hard to raise in the UK. The Stock Market is shark-infested water and Merchant Bankers (who have spawned their own variety of rhyming slang) only know how to lose money in third-world countries. For the benefit of the unenlightened, this phrase was coined by a French economist, whose intention was to describe a third of the world we know, and not to suggest that there are three of them!

The Products
The product portfolio so far includes:

Pieces of Eight a television game show that is based on a simple but irresistible premise - the search for buried treasure. It is a zestful show that combines a general knowledge quiz with the excitement of a real life treasure hunt.

METRO a card game for 2-6 players based (initially) on the London Underground ("The Tube"), with international versions planned for the Paris Metro, New York Subway, etc. This highly competitive game uses a pack of 52 standard-size playing cards and (optionally) 2 jokers. The card design and rules of play are unique, but the method of scoring and process of elimination have classical origins. There is also an element of surprise available through the use of the jokers that will appeal to aficionados of "Mornington Crescent".

Trade Enquiries are welcome, and anybody thinking of a game based on the 2002 Football World Cup - look no further. Our panel of experts is working as we speak to produce a real winner! Please Contact Us
